Every listing, checked and scored
Etsy's help pages list what a listing needs before search gives it a chance: a title that uses its 140 characters, 13 tags of 20 characters or fewer, alt text on every image, one finished product in a 2000-pixel first photo, the most specific category and a return policy. I built a workbook that scores each of your listings against that list and tells you the one thing to fix next, because most shops I look at miss two or three of them and fix the wrong one first.

Paste in your listings
One line per listing on the Listings tab: title, tags, image count, first-photo size, category, policy and the date it was listed. I set it up so a shop of three listings or three hundred fits the same sheet.
Read the score out of 8
Each listing gets a point for each requirement it meets, read straight from what you typed: title length in range, primary phrase first, 13 tags with none over 20 characters, alt text on every image, the first photo right, the category as specific as it goes, a return policy set. Under the score sits the fix to do first.
Catch tag problems before Etsy does
A tag with a hyphen or a stray apostrophe fails quietly in Etsy's editor. The sheet counts those per listing so you catch them in one pass.
Bank your keywords
The Keyword bank tab takes the phrases you have collected and counts how many of your titles and tags use each one, so you can see which phrases no listing carries yet.
Know when each listing renews
Etsy's help says a listing runs four months from the day it is listed or renewed. The Renewal calendar works that date out for every listing, flags what has expired and counts renewals per month for the year ahead, so a busy month never surprises you with a run of listing fees.
Review once a month
The Monthly review tab holds views, favourites and orders per listing, month by month, so you can tell which fix moved a number and which did nothing.

Open the tracker on EtsyChecked by recalculating it
Before listing it, I recalculated all 4,486 formulas across the six tabs with a formula engine outside Excel, and none returned an error.
I then typed a three-listing sample shop into a copy and checked 56 values by hand: the scores, the fix-next lines, the tag counts, the keyword counts and every renewal date matched.
The rules come from Etsy's own pages
Every check maps to a line on an Etsy help page that I read on 16 or 17 September 2026, and the Sources tab names the page for each rule so you can read it yourself when Etsy changes something.
Etsy does change these pages. If a rule on the sheet stops matching what you read on Etsy, go by Etsy and change the threshold in the blue cell.
What it does not do
It does not read your shop for you: you type each listing in, which takes about a minute per listing the first time.
It promises no ranking and carries no search volumes. It tells you whether a listing meets the conditions Etsy publishes, which is a smaller claim and the only one I can back.

Who should not buy this
If you want a tool that pulls your listings from Etsy and scores them automatically, this is not it, and the ones that do need access to your shop.
If you are after keyword search volumes or a promised position in search, no spreadsheet can give you either.

Does it work in Google Sheets?
Import it through File, Import, Upload. I kept to plain formulas, and every one of them uses a function Google Sheets supports.
Does it connect to my Etsy shop?
It does not. You type or paste each listing in, and nothing needs access to your account.
How long does it take to fill in?
About a minute per listing the first time, then five minutes a week to update the ones you changed.
What happens when Etsy changes a rule?
Each threshold sits in its own blue cell, and the Sources tab names the page to check. Change the number and every score follows.
