You are hiring one operator. What makes that work is that a lot of the operation is automated, built by the same person you are hiring, and running in public where you can look at it.
Why there are numbers on the front page
Every freelancer says they build AI automations and beautiful interfaces. The claim is free, so it is worth nothing. What is on the front page instead is arithmetic: the jobs you do by hand, how long each one takes, and what happens to that time. You can put your own volumes in and get your own answer.
What that means for your job
It means the automation is not theoretical. The scheduled jobs, the failure alerts, the data plumbing and the dashboards on the work page are the same machinery I would build for you, because I had to build them for myself first and I have to live with them every day.
What I will tell you honestly
When something should not be automated, I will say so. When a job is outside what I am good at, I will say that too, and it costs you nothing to have asked. Anything I build is handed over so it keeps running whether or not you keep paying me, which is the only version of this that I think is defensible.
