Same brand, banner to parcel

Your Etsy banner, shop icon, thank you cards and business cards should look like they come from one shop. I built this kit so all of it comes from one set of PowerPoint files in three styles, with the colours and fonts sitting in each file's theme, so changing them once in a file changes every piece in that style.

The working version, step by step.

  1. Pick one of three styles

    Every file opens with Clay, Linen and Bold on their own slides. I keep the one I want and delete the other two, since each style carries its own colours and its own pair of fonts.

  2. Change the colours once

    On the Design tab I open the arrow under Variants, then Colors, then Customize Colors, and set each colour box to my own. Every shape in that style follows, because I built the pieces from the theme rather than fixed colours. Google Slides does the same job under Slide, Edit theme.

  3. Drop in the logo and photos

    I delete the sample logo and a picture icon appears in its place, so I click it and choose my own file. The photo spots work the same way, and a square photo lands already cropped into the circle or the arch it sits in.

  4. Export the Etsy pieces at the right size

    File, Export, Change File Type, PNG, Just This One. Each slide is built at the exact pixel size Etsy's help page recommends, so the banner, mini banner, shop icon and order receipt banner come out ready to upload.

  5. Print the cards with the bleed already in

    The thank you card and business card carry a 3 mm bleed built into the page, with the words kept 3 mm inside the cut. File, Export, Create PDF sends a file my printer can use as it is.

  6. Keep the review note separate from the discount

    I kept the review note and the discount code note as two different cards, so nothing on either one reads as money off in exchange for a review.

Checked by rendering every slide

Before I listed it, I rendered all 64 slides across the three styles in PowerPoint and looked at every one. I measured every line of text against the colour sitting behind it, and the lowest contrast anywhere is 5.0 to 1, above the 4.5 to 1 line most accessibility guidance uses.

I then changed the theme colours and fonts in a copy of each style and rendered it again. Every changed colour and the heading font moved across the whole page, so a swap in one place does not leave an old colour behind on another slide.

Where the sizes come from

I took the Etsy sizes from Etsy's own image requirements page and the print sizes from printers' artwork guides, both read on 19 September 2026 and listed in the Sources file. PowerPoint's own PNG export gave the Etsy pieces at exactly those pixel sizes when I tested it.

Each print file carries its bleed and keeps its words inside the safe line, with the trim and safe guides showing in PowerPoint's View, Guides and never printing. I checked mine against a printer's own guide before listing this, and I would still check yours, since the exact cut on a business card varies a little between printers.

What it leaves out

There are no photos, stock images or clip art inside. The logo and photo spots are shapes built for your own pictures, so nothing arrives already filled in.

Do I need a Canva account?

PowerPoint, or a free Google account for Slides, is all you need. Every colour and font lives in the file's theme, so there is nothing to set up in Canva.

Does it work in Google Slides?

I tested it there myself: upload the .pptx to Google Drive, open it with Slides, and the six fonts are already built in. Slide, Edit theme does the same job there that the PowerPoint Design tab does on a desktop.

Can I print the cards at home?

You can, on card, printed at Actual size, then trimmed 3 mm in from each edge. I built each print file with a proper printer in mind first, so I would still check the colours against a home printer's own output.

What if I do not have a logo yet?

Type your own initials over mine and keep the shape. The logo spot is a placeholder built the same way as the photo spots, so your own picture or initials drop straight into it.
