Etsy shows the revenue, orders, clicks and spend it credits to ads. It does not show what those orders cost you or what the selling fees took. I built this workbook to apply your own whole-shop percentages and estimate what the ad-credited sales left before and after advertising.

Copy the figures Etsy shows
Choose a date range on the Etsy Ads page and type Spend, Clicks, Orders and Revenue into one review column. The workbook keeps the labels and dates together so you know which figures belong to which range.
Add the shop figures behind them
Enter whole-shop revenue, product costs and selling fees for the same dates. The sheet turns those into the cost and fee percentages it applies to the ad revenue, unless you have a better percentage for that review.
Answer the refund question
If you know about refunds on the ad orders, type them and say whether Etsy has already taken them off Revenue. If you are unsure, the result waits and keeps the refund question visible.
Read the checks before the result
The checks catch text, negative numbers, part-orders, missing figures, mismatched dates, differing Etsy Ads blocks and ranges that ended recently. A warning tells you what to look at before you use the estimate.

Keep one period in each column, then read estimated contribution before and after advertising, ROAS and break-even ROAS. The worked example puts five fictional periods side by side, including a refund, no ad sales and no ad spend.

Etsy reports the revenue of orders it credits to ads. Product costs and selling fees come from your whole-shop percentages, so the estimate changes if the ad orders contain a different mix of items.
Overheads and your own time are left out unless you include them in product costs. The workbook records the figures and does the arithmetic; it cannot show that an ad caused a sale.
Built around the Etsy Ads page
The header stats and listing table can show different date ranges. Each has its own cells, and you choose which block supplies the estimate after the workbook shows the differences.
Etsy can credit a purchase to an ad for up to 30 days after the click, so the sheet shows how long the range has been closed without treating that as proof the figures are final.
Checked in Microsoft Excel for Windows
I recalculated the delivered workbook in Excel 16.0 for Windows and ran it against an independent model across 37 cases, including refunds, no ad sales and no spend.
The workbook has plain formulas, no macros and no add-ins. The verified opening was Microsoft Excel for Windows.

It has no live connection. You copy the figures the Etsy Ads page shows and add the matching whole-shop figures from your own records.

What does break-even ROAS mean here?
The break-even ROAS is the arithmetic point at which the estimated contribution after advertising reaches zero for the figures in that review.
